Visit http://spillingcoffee.com/wagner-sprayer-review/ for a full review to see if the Power Paint Plus is right for you. Here's a live demonstration and quick review of the Wagner Power Paint Plus spray. You'll see how it paints, how loud it is, the problems you may get with splattering paint if you run out of paint in the cup and how to take apart the unit to clean it. Here are the official features from Wagner's own website: Model: 025001 Name: Power Painter Plus with EZ Tilt EZ Tilt Flexible suction tube -- Spray at any angle Tungsten carbide Optimus Dual Tip Technology for even coverage, less over spray and more control 1 quart cup twist lock cup 6.6 GPH (gallons per hour) Spare atomizer valve Paint can lid with pour spout Adjustable spray guard for vertical or horizontal spraying Manual material selector Includes cleaning brushes To spray properly you want to hold the sprayer even and move your entire arm back and forth (or up and down if you're painting vertically) in parallel with the surface you're paining. You do not want to twist your wrist or arch your arm or hit any part of your surface at a different angle than the rest of your painting. That being said, the Wagner Power Paint Plus is designed to be held at different angles without sputtering (a common problem with some paint sprayers) and my limited testing showed that it did work pretty well at almost any reasonable incline level. This would make painting a house or porch a snap.

why is it different from mine
-
Had the tip wrong direction, it's set for vertical patterns
-
Thanks for posting it! I thought mine was broken because it was so deafeningly loud. I guess that's just how it does!
-
Should paint that fence behind you!!

Yeah, laying all the paint sprayer parts out on the grass was a pretty stupid idea. I had a piece of cardboard about a foot away but I was too lazy to drag it over. I've used the sprayer a couple more times since originally posting this video. My short review: "Eh, it's okay for small jobs, but I wouldn't want to use it for deck or spaying a whole fence or anything where I'd be using it for more than a half hour or so." It's a pretty inexpensive (cheap!) paint sprayer. It works, but you get what you pay for.

Good info, though you may not want to take it apart and lay it in the grass.

fuck i had a good laugh when it started spitting

this was so helpful because i thought there was something wrong with mine because it was so loud! thanks!

Louder than I thought it would be, holy monkey!

The texture material is the same joint compound that is used for the walls. It may need to be watered down a bit depending on its consistency. Clean up is done with water only. If you have an air compressor, you can get a spray gun/hopper attachment for a lot less money, and that produces more predictable results, especially for the finer orange peel texture. The final texture can be painted after drying, preferably using a thick nap paint roller.

oh yeah, and what do you use to clean the paint gun with? I'm very interested in buying one of these since they areunder $100 :-) thanks
-
did you have to use a special paint or thinner?
-
I bought a big one of these with a hose and it was nothing but trouble. All it could spray was water. It wanted nothing to do with paint. Are these hand held units better? Will they actually spray paint?
-
Thank you.
