Great video. Random question, where did you get those oversized green knobs?
-
Cool! This may have pushed me over the edge on buying the TR-8

Soon as I saw your removed scatter knob I had to dislike. :-(

I can safely say (after not having bought a hardware drum machine for 20 years) that not only is this the very best Drum Machine 808 909 emulator that I have ever used BUT has to go down with one of the best purchases Ive ever made !! .It is so uncomplicated amd sounds phenominal ! THAT KICK !! therefore creativity is almost instant - I will rephraze - The creativity IS instant ! This knocks blocks off Korg Volca beats or any other Drum Machine in my humble opinion. Also I would further like to add .I am glad music tech is going full circle - meaning getting back to the roots re using Hardware instruments ! - too many vsts , virtual synths anf fx only confuse overload the brain and stunt the creative process , so throw your laptops away people , sell them !!- get back to the Roots , 70s and 80s ..the very best of times !! ~ when music making creativity was simple and most of all fun ... Buy just a few of these machines , take the time to master them completely !!- then you are on a winner !!!

Hello, thanks a lot for your tuto. Every things seems to be ok but I still have one problem : when I switch monitor to on, I heard twice the sound of my TR : once with the synth effect and one with the normal sound. so the sound become dirty and the instrument like BD are saturated
I have noticed that even with the track activator on off, the sound of the TR is still here...
How can I cut the signal from the TR, and keep only the sound from ableton with effect you are showing ?
Thanks by advance :) -

Isn't the resonator a form of delay, rather than a synth?

Carnage: “…the volume here, it just adds a whole, I don’t know what it does, it just makes everything super louder…it just makes it sound very very way more stronger.” Thumbs up if you read this in his voice!

I like to see how people route their things and what they want to achieve. I work more with Logic. I like Ableton a lot but I am on Logic. What people need to develop is taste, no matter what equipment you have, being creative and being able to know music and become one with your tools... is when the magic comes a live.
