What tip you are used when you're painting outside

I'm an automotive painter that uses an HVLP gun and I'm trying to learn how to use an airless paint sprayer. I wondered what the extension was for, so I watched this video. I guess it's different with an airless paint sprayer because you couldn't use an extension with automotive painting? The gun has to be perpendicular to the spray surface while spraying so you don't get dry spots and rough paint texture.

How do you stop the paint from flashing when you're painting a metal roof especially if it dries really quick since its really hot and a little windy?

I can say this... I've learned more from Chris than any other channel. I (like a dope) bought a Graco sprayer (like a dumb guy thought "I'll figure it out", well, I didn't. From then on, this channel has been my go to for almost every paint tip/lesson since then....give him a chance, watch his videos, and you'll find yourself doing so much better.

Chris, first off i enjoy your videos as they are very informative. I am planning on painting my house which is cedar shake lap siding. What tip do you recommend? using a grace airless sprayer. i haven't seen any painting videos to that type of siding. I would also be getting an extension. Thanks.

Hello Chris! This extentions is pretty good but very short :-) in russia we prefer 6ft pole gun, finding that it more usability for extrior spraying. What do you think about?
