m using a audio 10 dj + traktor x1 + maschine + external mixer (2 channels). My question is .. Do i need more channels in my mixer to connect the maschine? Or where can I connect the maschine?
-
Hi, one of the best explanation about the mater on YouTube. I don't understand how can I control the machine volume on my traktor z2. I listen the volume of the mascine but I don t understan s how can i control it..
-
I don't really know anything about Rewire, so I can't help you there. If you already have Traktor synced to Ableton, you could use Maschine as a VST and save the trouble of having to sync twice.
-
Dope how they Link ... BUT ... My Traktor Links To Ableton 9 , and My Maschine is just a VSTI in FL Studio (2nd interface)... where i can rewire Reason & Ableton 8 .. ☻ ☺

mm i think i tried that before :S, im guessing that if i had an s4 i could run the sound straight into the s4 cause im guessing it has a virtual input so i could run the sound through the usb?. either that or go out to a sound sound card then into an s4 input
-
There isn't any great way to accomplish this that I can think of. If there is latency from soundflower, you might be able to adjust the MIDI clock offset to get things in time with each other.
-
i was more thinking to use maschine with an S2, iv been running it through sound flower which works but there is too much distortion in the sound, im guessing its latency, however iv managed to run the sound from my maschine out of my S2, the sound doesnt go through traktor as a live input therefore i cant use the mix recorder or fx, iv got the midi clock working but i just wanted to rout the sound through traktor to make a mix with it and my s2

I am going to assume that you're asking with regards to using a controller like the S4 and not an external mixer. You'd have to either loop the audio back in, which may cause some delay issues, or use a virtual connection in software. If you're using an external mixer, there isn't really any purpose of routing it with the live input. Interestingly enough, a video on live inputs is already in the works.
-
hey mate im just wondering if you know how to run maschine as a live input in traktor? i thought it would be useful as maschine has a large gallery of instruments, which could make live sets more interesting.
-
Can you not use the virtual output, like I showed in the video, on Windows? If that's the case, I'm not sure exactly how it is done.
-
Im using traktor s2 and traktor audio 6 both hardware doesn't have midi input for my maschine and I'm running pc, i would like to know what can I do to sync traktor and maschine?
-
Go into the controller manager tab of Traktor and remove any extra midi devices. Go into Maschine Audio and MIDI Settings and turn off the MIDI for all non-Maschine devices. That should "isolate" the controllers to their respective programs.
-
thanx so much for the tutorial butnow my midi controllers are controlling all the programs and making a big music mess hahha but if someone could tell me how to isolate my midi controllers to a specific program that would be great thanx again

How do I get clock master up, I only have deck master.?
-
As long as you have the 2 programs synced correctly, and you're syncing to the master clock in Traktor, everything should stay in time with each other. That's the beuty of digital DJing :)
-
i understand the bpm sync part but what about phasing?
-
Once you set it up, you don't have go through the process again. When you chagne the BPM in Traktor, the change will take effect in Maschine.
