Hey man...great video! Thanks so much for creating and posting it!!! So I just picked up a Pioneer DDJ RB midi controller and am working hard to get it mapped out with Traktor Pro 2. I'm stuck though on getting the master level meter LED's to work...any suggestions?

Some controllers have the LED state 'Blinking'. How is it possible to find out, which button which midi state needs to blink? In my case Gemini G4V, the Play/Pause button blinks in Pause mode in VirtualDJ, but could not figure out how it blinks in Traktor.

Thank you for this great video of interaction and mapping. This greatly helped me to use other mappings and then edit them to my best use and also begin to work on my own mapping once seeing other mappings and the behaviors. Amazing and very clear, effective and clear video. I have seen many where they run through the workings this video was excellent in all aspects with quality, tone, editing and delivery (of speech). Thank you very much.

Led in button A will sometimes light up when I push the button i mapped to B. I checked my values and it seems I have them correct. However it is not responding in the way I had hoped it would. Please help!

You probably need to assign additional MIDI out commands that look for the modifiers you have set up. That is a topic for another video. However, if you're familiar with how modifiers work you can probably put that together with this to get it to work. Essentially you need to tell Traktor that when modifiers are active, change the LED interactions accordingly.

Hey, Great explanation! I'm trying to map my Terminal Mix 4 with your instructions but something not working... I mapped 1-4 cue buttons to cue 5-8 when another button is pushed and it's ok. But when i'm trying to map the out command so that the led will be on (like it does with the regular 1-4 cues) it doesn't work :( what I have noticed is that for the regular 1-4 cues in the out mapping there are two commands for each hot cue in each deck. I have only one and no idea what should be the secon

I'm not sure if fader start is available in Taktor. If it is, you certainly can set it up with a shift button. Check out out other video tutorial on adding shift buttons. It will show you how to acomplish that.

The 1D seems to just have the 4 ring lights around the button 4 buttons. Maybe they're not actually connected to the MIDI interface. I'm not familiar enough with the controller to tell.

It should work on the Maschine Mikro.
-
Any idea why this does not work on a 1D?
