what software came with this product? Im looking into the s4 but dont want to have to upgrade software

You need to make sure the beatgrid and BPM is set correctly in your track (in the Grid Panel below the deck) before capturing samples. If the BPM is doubled , the sample will play very slow, and if the BPM is halved in the track, the sample will play very fast. You can double or half the BPM by clicking on the x2 or /2 buttons in the grid panel

every time I use a song on a sample deck the tempo is either too fast or too slow. How do I set it to be normal where the song just takes a piece of it but at a normal tempo

Probably a "common" DJ headphones, but as far as I know any headphone can be used LIKE a microphone... not good as a microphone (of course) but it really can record audio when connected to a microphone input.
