Probably stainless rod

It is nice to see someone think outside the box. I am a dairy farmer &, I do alot of my own maintence too. But, neither me or any other farmers that I know here in WI. have this many break downs! I agree with you there are only so many hours in a day to get work done other than repairs.

German rods on a Danish pump in an American barn, an international morning for sure! Hardi Sprayers are cheaper to buy, but by God, they make up for it on the spare parts! Nigel in Ireland.

YEAHHHHH!!! Finally another farm related WELDING VIDEO you've done! It's about time! Thank you and keep 'em coming please!!!!

Where do you get your latex gloves your always wearing
-
it seems like most farmers use stick welders instead of mig is stick better for the farm then migs
-
That sprayer looks like it is built way too light.

I realize there is always work to be done as far a maintenance goes. I spent most of my childhood on a dairy farm. Milking cows Morning & Night as well as fixing fences feeding out hay, grubbing tussocks, spraying blackberries & other jobs to numerous to mention. I keep forgetting you are on the other side of the world in the middle of winter with probably a metre or more of snow in the paddocks.

repair work is "actually doing work around the farm". its just the way it is. something always needs fixed. farming isn't all driving tractors and doing stuff in the field.
-
Definitely rhubarb keep it out of the rhubarb eh and stay out of the cabbage too. Hahaha
-
He has one, and can be seen using it in various videos.
-
Sometimes eh when I'm chasin Eskimos on my dog sled while eaten Canadian bacon with maple syrup I put it in the rhubarb eh.

Hardi and Bean are old names in the Orchard sprayer business as well..

Hey Wes have you ever tried a Lincoln rechargeable grease gun. We use one on our farm really cuts down on your greasing time. Thanks for your videos keep up the good work. Hope you guys have a safe spring

hello there, love the videos! just loving the American dream, as a welder/ engineer I naturally closed my eyes when you arced up with the welder but im really curious as to what the type of rods you used to do this cause if there is no spaks come off them after welding with the grinding I would like o to know, are they hardfacing rods? as in the same that are used to weld a hard edge to dozers or buckets for quarry or mining use?
-
Yeah I want to know the same
