Spray Paint a Car DIY~ Aerosol Can Color Match FAIL ~ Touch Up Repaint Step #3 http://www.1OwnerCarGuy.com This is the third and final stage of this process. We got more paint and are ready to finish the hood and see how it all turns out. Be careful of the tips on these cans the are not the greatest. Well I had enough paint to finish and check out how it turned out. I think it turned out pretty good. It is not perfect but I didn't expect it to be and the conditions were not ideal. Any way this was a fairly quick and easy process and a great way to upgrade the look of your car or truck. Not certain about the points made but ,if anyone else wants to discover car paint spraying tutorial try Sovallo Auto Painting Fixer (should be on google have a look ) ? Ive heard some unbelievable things about it and my buddy got excellent results with it.

There are many components to getting a good result. One plan I found which successfully combines these is the Magic Painter Method (google it if you're interested) definately the no.1 course i've seen. Check out this unbelievable site.

I like the tips you are using in this video. A product I also found helpful for painting a car with aerosol spray paint is Moorack Car Spray Miracle - it will be on google if you need it

I have a 1986 Chevy truck 50 thous original miles. all put on by my dad. the paint is peeling off side front panel exposing black. I don't have a lot of money and when I say not a lot I really mean not a lot. what grit sandpaper do I use and what type spray paint. help

duplicolor is the worst paint, try rustoleum, trust me, its way better...

Having done the same thing with my Ford pickup - you're going to have over-spray on your windshield...

How many litres do you need to spray about 1\4 to.1\4 a dual cab ute?
I only doing a once off spray on my ute,so didnt want to buy a gun,and air conpressor.
I got do the bonnet,strips up all four doors,about 5cm wide,plus other lil spots on the doors and roof.
It is a 20 year old,I will be getting colour code matching.
Can you buy different nozzle for a better spray,the auto shop one dipple a little. -

In my opinion I like the tips you are using in this video. I like how the top presses down and not the whole tip

All tips will create a build up ...I do spray paint art and I can tell from experience...if you don't clean your caps you'll get sputters

Always clear coat duplicolor perfect match paint, I didn't once my paint turned purple (it was red) and half peeled off after a month
