You've seen the recipes online for "natural" alternatives to RoundUp. Vinegar weedkillers: Do they work? I test them head to head!

I'm not convinced by your study, because Bleach will kill the crap out of green stuff too. But when mixed with greenery, you create dioxins, which are non biodegradable nerve toxins and hang around on the ground and in the soil... forever... or worse... percolates into the ground water table.
Who's to say Roundup doesn't contain bleach, until you bring up the ingredients list? Or something similar, that is creating nerve agents that your kids bare feet are going to run through the wet grass in... 10 years later... and get a health dose of neurotoxins absorbed into their skin?

You need a blackboard and putting up the chemical reactions and what's actually going on... to make a real scientific study.
If Roundup contains glyphosphate, you have no idea if it's reacting with organic compounds to form organophosphates.... which are nerve agents:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Organophosphate
Are you plugging a product that creates nerve agents, when sprayed on greenery? You don't know, until you do the chemistry...

You have to ask yourself, would you drink a glass of Round up? if not.... you have to wonder about dumping it in the environment, and will Mother Nature be able to cope with it...

I use muratic acid or otherwise known as hydrochloric acid.
It is a natural acid and is safe in ponds.
If you are spraying the whole lawn this won't work.
Spot spray to minimize waste. -
Nice Job! Thanks!

I have never seen so much misinformation in one comment section in my life. People are going to believe what they want. You will never change them.

Round-up has a very high LD50 which means on the toxicity scale it is one of the least toxic. An LD50 is measured by how may grams does it take to kill 50% of the rats in a test situation. Many household products have lower LD50's, lower then R-up. (Vinegar is one ) One scientist actually drank R-up to prove a point, and has no ill effect to this point in time. Try drinking your vinegar & soap. I've seen Philippino's kill goats on the farm by sticking their face in 3 inches of vinegar in a pail. Fact. Some people throw the baby out with the bath water. Glyphosate is made by several corporations, but the big M take most of the heat, we hate them. LOL

Glyphosyte is th ebest.

I am going to be redoing this experiment but using Sea Salt instead of Epsom Salt. Obviously Epsom salt isn't going to do anything except maybe correct a magnesium deficiency in your weeds:-) As far as Glyphosate not adversely affecting bacteria/mycorrhiza in the soil, have you considered the possibility that the surfactant used in the actual Glypohsate formulations sold could adversely affect the bacteria/mycorrhiza in the soil? As I'm sure you know, most studies on Glyphosate's effect on soil microorganisms do not include surfactant, which is in the formulations of Roundup being sold. The surfactant greatly increases the Roundups ability to kill weeds, and also increases Roundup's ability to kill benificial soil microorganism, many of which share the same Shikimate pathway that is the very mechanism of action for how glypohsate kills plants.

DANGER!!! This was NOT a Scientificly based test!!! (The Vinegar is WAY more Biodegradable than Roundup!!!) DON'T Compost anything sprayed with Roundup because many Deathly Diseases are linked to it!!! Corporations are NOT People Too!!! They only respect PROFITS and DON't give a Rats A$$ about People...
Before considering Roundup... READ THIS and then do your own research, don't listen to the Corporate Trolls and Shills!!!

I suggest that you go direct to the point as it is too much to listen the same again and again. Need to make it more interesting!

I agree that Roundup is way more effective at killing plants and ruining your soil so that nothing can grow there for a long time. I am curious why you didn't try regular salt instead of epsom salt. Regular salt is great for killing weeds, and like roundup it will keep them dead a long time and ruin your soil, which seems to have been your goal.

Thanks for the video. Did it rain during the waiting period?

Thanks for the video...Good Stuff ! Cheers.

For spot weeding - have you thought of using hot water - very effective - very environmentally friendly

Dish liquid, Vinegar, table salt (it has aluminum in it) and that is it. The Effect long lasting, months....I do this every 6 months on area where I have concrete pavers. Don't use it near fruit trees or plants as it will kill that stuff. Round up is deadly, cancer causing.....so I have to do it every 6month big deal. At least I won't kill my cat and or chickens who roam around in the garden.

This whole vinegar thing not working has so much more to it than what's discussed in all the YT videos I've watched. You're not looking to use OTC vinegar you use to sprinkle on your salads or even consume in small amounts. Your looking for grades higher in acidity say 20% minimum. You can get 45% or higher acidity. These are the agricultural products one needs to be using and not this 5% acidity. Sometimes I've seen this vinegar listed as agricultural grade vinegar. The soil itself is the buffer and the stronger chemical ingredients in RoundUp stay put much longer in the soil as opposed to the weak vinegar solutions. There's so much more to this discussion as I mention.

Are you trying to also kill grass? If you just want to kill weeds and not the grass you need to use a broad leaf killer like curtail or they have a new replacement for that which is just as good but cheaper I use that on my yard I have no weeds just beautiful grass I repeat once a month do that for three years straight and all the dandelion seeds should be gone from all my experience it takes three years to get rid of them all the way.

can u please do a video of how round up and vinger effect microbial life and worms that feed on the soil and roots of roundup and vinger effected plants and soils

Never use Round Up more tan 700 lawsuits in the USA alone. They are all trying to create a class action lawsuit.
