Testing out the PaintZoom from "As Seen On TV" Couldn't find a real good review on it so I forked over the money and got it. Here are the results. What I really don't like is that you have to strain the hell out of good quality paint. Your looking at atleast 50-50 dilution( water/paint) which is really not that great. Which is why I say your sacrificing quality over quantity. The reason you have to dilute the paint is so that paint is not as thick and can go through the tip of the spray gun. It shouldn't be 50/50 dilution(water/paint)...the water added should be less...jus enough for the paint to be thin..I normally add a glass of water for 7L of paint.Too much of water will make the painted wall to look like the video using the paint zoom...But it will dry faster thou..

does any one having spray issue.. i just bought this but when i started painting it was applying very less paint, but when i did some setting on spray nozzle air cap, it stopped throwing paint now... that is it is not picking up paint from bottle.. what to do

i think you need to spray in a very slow motion until you see how you want your wall covered. im watching this just to hear your review, but i dont think you did it right (based on what ive seen). can you tell us how's the feel during sprays?

I bought it for small paint projects. i have a bad wrist and arm so it's awesome for me to cover a chair, dresser or shelf.. but i agree no walls.. or ceilings. I love my paint zoom for crafts..

dude, you have no clue man. you don't know how to use it. you're rushing it and you'get lazy when it's time to refill the sprayer bottle. you just wanna keep going. when you get coverage then you move on.

yeah I think if you try on cardboard first setup the pressure & amount of paint my be ok.

I have nothing to do with this product but after watching you spray and the time you have for this video I think it's unfair to say it doesn't work on large areas. I think if you take your time ( like the advertisement shows) and spray with a nice even flow it would come out better then you showed and yes, you may need two coats even with a sprayer. You can't do a rush job when spray painting

The paint zoom works great if you get the thinning consistency right according to the directions, the paint adjustment rate, and the painting technique correct. I had to thin my paint down with 2.5 of the 1/10 quart cups for each quart. After I got the thinning rate down everything went smooth. This video is a horrible representation of this products ability. Also, it will look blotchy in some areas when wet, this is due to heavier coverage in those areas (usually at the ends of your paint area since those areas get hit more). After it dries it looks more even. I would recommend two coats no matter what too. After taping my room it only took about 10 min per coat and it's a big room.
