Mr. Medina, YOU are A-W-E-S-O-M-E!! I purchased a tank sprayer less than 6 months ago and around 4 months in, I started to feel the pump giving more noticeable resistance... AND, it was starting to squeak (more like a ''moan'') each time I pushed the handle down. Then, about 2 weeks ago, it did exactly what you were referring to in this "GOD-Send" of a video. Tried to pump air into it and the handle just went down so easily...TOO easily. So, for the past several days, I've been contemplating what to do; get another tank or try to fix this one. Well, it's night, now. But, in the morning, I'll check the parts according to your guidance. I hope it works...! I'm guessing it will because your logic and solution seem spot on for my issue.
