I noticed today that one of the cheap 12V water pumps I bought last year is capable of an impresively high output pressure, and with the help of a biro I made a handy little pressure washer for washing the slime and grime from the roots on my hydroponic strawberries.... and as I was in the greenhouse for all of that already, might as well throw in a quick look at the plants.

So is that root rot?
With the appropriate connections could i use this to create a shower in my bathroom? Maybe with a smaller shower head.
They're fun, but 100 psi is the same as a garden hose. A pressure washer is around 2000psi. I use mine as a mobile car wash.
Forgive me for saying Jimmy. That pressure is sure to destroy any roots you care to squirt it at!

Man that root rot is a problem... are you running the nutrient 24 hours? I wonder if on/off cycles would be better for you to give the roots a chance to get some air. They look like soggy feet to me! Good luck, brother and nice score with the little pump!

Amazing how such a small pump can generate that kind of pressure (and noise lol).
The lights in the misting chamber, will it have some influence on the roots ?
