Novo Engine and Bean Giant Sprayer
Tricks, Ratschläge, Online, Reparieren, Landwirtschaft, Landwirtschaft Maschine
This is a 1923 Orchard Sprayer Wagon I've been restoring since the summer. The Bean Giant Pump was an absolute basket case when I got it and with the help of the people on Smokstak site, I've got it up to running, but not pumping condition. The engine is also a 1923 Novo 3 HP gasoline engine that's still looking for it's fuel pump. Right now, I'm just filling the carb bowl and with that alone, I can get a 1/2 hour's running from it. It's been a lot of fun restoring this old girl.

Thank you for the compliment. Since this video, I've got the Bean Sprayer Pump working pretty well. I couldn't find the leather pistons originally used in the pump, so I fashioned the piston material out of rubber hockey pucks. With those in place, I was able to acheive about 100 psi at the tip of the nozzle. I'll be doing a video about that soon...stay tuned!

Yeah, I set the governor a little too fast. No harm done this time but I'll keep it at about 200 rpm. It will be interesting when it's finally pumping water.

Looks nice buddy, good to see you got it going :) You need to slow it down a little thought, its running a tad fast
