Mine doesn't work either...out of the box. Using fine olive oil too.

mine showed no resistance after continued pumping and therefore, no spray was to be had....too bad a neat concept, I even bought one for many friends......

Hmm, I clear it as one would a can of spray paint, and release the pressure after use. I tend to use avacaodo oil, for it's high flash point. Might you naysayers be using an unfiltered olive oil which contains a lot of sediment, not meant for cooking which might clog the atomizer?
If y'all were to put sand in it, it wouldn't spray out either.......not a flaw of the product, but a flaw in the user. -
Mine doesn't work either...I followed directions perfectly and it still doesn't function properly.

Mine doesn't work either. It's new. I put olive oil in half full, pumped it a few times and the spray won't nudge. I tried it again and nothing. I know it's not clogged because it is the first time I use it but the spray top doesn't go down at all. Unfortunately I don't have the receipt anymore.

Worked good at first, the plastic piece inside the lid keeps coming off, and it doesn't pump that good anymore.

I have had one for a couple of years and has always worked fine. It has not been used in a while, so I just washed it with hot soapy water---still sprays as it is supposed to.

I bought one about 2 months ago and couldn't wait until I finished using the non stick spray can I had purchased so I could start using Misto. It did not work. I followed the directions exactly. It says to pump until you feel resistance (usually after 10 pumps). Well, never felt any resistance so tried to use it anyway. It sprayed for about 1 second and stopped working and olive oil started seeping out of the hole. Very very disappointed.

I just got one and the dam thing doesn't work. I thought I filled it too much, so I poured some out, took out the pieces and washed them, let the air dry. NOTHING. I am so annoyed.
