A glass container? No, you don't want a glass container for olive oil. Exposure to light causes the oil to lose flavor. Even if you're presently storing your oil in a glass see through container, you should cover it up with foil.

Thanks, almost picked on up online.

Try the Prepara brand oil Mister. Currently, I see it's on sale ($11.99 vs. $19.99) at Wayfair.com. It has a glass base so you can see how much oil is inside, and it's a fine mister (pun intended).. Again, the secret for the Prepara is that you only fill it up 1/2 way. Additionally, you can add sprigs of herbs —basil, oregano or thyme—or even a crushed clove of garlic to the base which will then flavor your olive oil.

Crap product... used it once, now all it does is spray out air. Followed the cleaning instructions, and then some, all to no avail... :(

It works fine, it's just that you're not using enough pressure or the olive oil is too thick for it

First thing is to build up proper pressure by pumping it properly. Use long, full strokes on the pump until it becomes quite had to continue. Second thing, and VERY important, is not to tilt the spray bottle too much. Any pressurized can with any product in it should never be tilted more than 35 or at most 45 degrees or you will end up voiding the propellant long before the contents you actually paid for. I have noticed in most of the videos complaining about this produce the person has the spray bottle almost parallel to the surface he is spraying. That will result in a stream of oil or spurts of oil coming out, not a fine spray. And of course, as this is a pressurized bottle, you should not pump the spray button in short bursts but press and hold it to allow it to actually spray the oil. It is all little more than common sense, really. This is a great product by the way and while I am sure that defective units can happen, not to the extant that I see people complaining about them.

Dear FriendThank you to show us the right side of this productIt is not what we look for...you are right!best wishespop

Thanks dude... looks like I'm going with the Evo Sprayer

As other have said, you need to pump it more. Also you need to hold the sprayer button down same as you would with a can of Pam or your underarm deodorant spray or bug spray. Those short pushes you're doing will never give you the mist spray. Believe me, I know of what I speak, I have had this item as well as others from 3 different makers.

I've had mine for quite some time ... the plastic rim inside broke half way around, thereby not allowing pressure to build up inside to spray ... only used it for balsamic vinegar!!! So now, it is trash because I cannot find "MISTO PARTS" on internet. Washed out plastic bottle from Salad Spritzers brand ... that works perfectly and I don't have to rely on 'pressure'!

Had one a long time ago for a long time and it worked well.

You aren't pumping it correctly. You're pumping it 3 or 4 times--instead of 10 or more as the instructions say. With the correct amount of pressure built up, it works as advertised. Watch some of the other vids about this on YouTube. The product--when used correctly--works perfectly.

thank god for your video! I was wondering that I had bought piece of non sense because nothing was coming out of it. now I realize that I was not using it the right way!!
-
Terrible product. I tried it as well. Did not work at all. Luckily Amazon gave me a full refund without returning it.

I was having the same problem and just bought it yesterday. I took the advice of the comment below and now I'm getting a fine mist. Pumping until it's stiff really works.
-
I too had the same problem you had after following the instructions (10-15 pumps). But after giving it enough pumps until the pump is stiff, I was able to get the fine mist I was looking for. The problem is the manufacturer's instructions.
-
Mine works just fine. As seen on your video I pump way more than you did yours
-
Mine worked much better than this for the first two fills of olive oil. However on the third fill it is now working just like it is in this video. I have no idea what happened.
-
I had air coming out, i just turned upside down and sprayed, initially it sprayed oil like in the video then i stopped and tilted and spraryed and it started working correctly..
