Idk this might be a dumb question but if someone could help me it would be greatly appreciated. I have a song where i want the pitch of one sound to dive at the end. The only way ive been doing it was manually while the song is playing but i want it to do it by itself. I tried recording it while the song was playing and that didnt work. Any suggestions?

can I use the audio import to record samples live from an anolog synthesizer?

How can I sample from CD to maschine?

Hi I'm wondering if there is a way to just route the audio through maschines input channel? For example instead of recording the incoming audio i would just like it to play back through maschine and possibly add some compression to it? Would this be possible or can maschine only record incoming audio?

How do I correctly save the slices to the pads so that when I re-open the program the slices are still there? I have to keep re-slicing everything from scratch.

On the mikro how do I set the threshold. I have my fast tracks sound card wired into it and am sending my computers output to the fast track. I press sample and when I start playing my sample it registers on the unit, but when i press "sample" it just says "waiting for next bar" and never records!

Alright, Now how do I record my sample into my song?

I have an avid m mbox mini as my interface but I don't think the turntable can plug directly into it. Do i need a special kind of interface? If not how can i get the signal from the turntable to my maschine software?
-
Regarding Connecting Gear and Connections: If you listen to what he says: "...it's either set to EXTERNAL for audio signals connected to your audio interface or INTERNAL for audio signals generated by Maschine itself." As such, if you are wanting to record a sample from a Vinyl Record/Turntable, it's going to need to come into the software THROUGH YOUR AUDIO INTERFACE. In my cause I have an M-Audio Fast Track Ultra, so I would connect my turntable through the Fast Track Audio interface. :)

Check my page out. I have a tutorial video explaining the way I route audio into Maschine.

BUT HOW DO YOU SAMPLE INTO IS THERE RCA JACKS ON BACK OR DOES IT HAVE TO BE THROUGH SOFTWARE AND WHAT CORD"S DO I NEED
-
they had to specifically as native instruments for the permission, read the resell rules, i had to wait like 2 weeks for my registration to go through because of it
-
God, I must be retarded or something. Everyone is saying how easy Maschine is to use. I bought mine last Sept and JUST found out how to start your own song without the sample's song getting in the way. I used to try and manually delete everything so I could start completely from scratch.
-
you actually cannot sell it used, or get one used, only way is to ask maschine for permission to do so with the registration

I have a question I'm using an AUDIO 2 sound card for production and I have an AUDIO 8 for traktor I'm pretty sure the audio 2 isn't any good for sampling as it only has outputs and I'm pretty sure the audio 8 can't be used as a standalone sound card so am I right in thinking the best way to do this is to sample inside traktor (just like recording a set) and then transferring the audio to masculine as a sample??????
