(part 1)" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k3tCQy4-Emw -~-~~-~~~-~~-~- In this video I'm demonstrating how I spray a medium size knockdown ceiling texture with a Graco RTX 1500- 20 gallon hopper texture machine. The home is in Rockledge, Florida where we have already draped plastic over the walls and covered the floors and removed the outdated popcorn textured ceilings. In the video I'm using a 36" plexiglass/lexan paddle to knock down the medium size splatter texture. Once the knockdown texture dries overnight it will need to be primed and painted.

Hey Paul when you spray a ceiling after popcorn removal with orange peel do you spray it twice for even orange peel ?

After scraping popcorn off do i need to sand or clean the ceiling before spraying on the knockdown?

How could one do a spray knockdown texture on a double bullnose archway without leaving a ridge from the knife and round wipe off knife? Does the walls have to be done along with the ceiling or can you take a break? All shot at once. Small space 4x10x9.

I have a large air compressor, and a hopper gun, I've used it to spray orange peel. Would this setup be good to spray knockdown? Most houses here in cali have orange peel or smooth knockdown. Im spraying a ceiling after popcorn removal, retaped joints and fixed other minor stuff, its primed and ready to go.

How long do you wait between texturing and starting the knock-down process, sir?
