This demonstration is for patches and or very small areas only. We do not recommend doing full ceilings with this product. Although the same technique is applied for the finish, a texture hopper or spray rig should be used for spraying bigger ceilings. We test out Homax Knockdown Spray Texture - Water Based 20oz Can. Works great for doing small patches and repairs! We do not recommend these for spraying entire ceilings. maybe that is oil based like another video suggests but if its water based what a total load of horse shit totally junk. right on the can it says allow 1 or 2 minutes before knocking down. I waited 2 hrs on my 4th try and it still wiped right off. you have to mix the joint compound and do it the hard way then it will set up. the water based homax product is totally bunk don't use it.
