John Deere recently released some very innovative technology for R4030, R4038, and R4045 sprayers, and RDO Equipment Co. gives you an inside look. Using AutoTrac™ Vision and RowSense™ operators can more effectively manage fields in-season. The Vision system uses a camera mounted on the sprayer to identify crop rows and autonomously steer through the field. When the canopy closes and rows are no longer well-defined, an operator can switch to the RowSense system, which uses special attachments on the wheels to feel the crop stems and navigate through the field.
