I just got one today and sometimes my loops are off the beat grid just slightly. Is there a way to fine edit the loops to make sure they go back in time on the beat grid?

Get the thud rumble mixer the invader. You won't have to use your computer!

I GOT A MAIL FROM NATIVE YESTERDAY the gonna release the tsi in near future so we can manipulate the standards... guess they got a lot of attention from buyers complaining about this... there is a lot of annoying things on the S8 their making us change.. but lets wait for the TSI file.. ;)

Hi. very good videos, I subscribe. Could you help me with a problem I have? I have the traktor s8 and a module of effects pionner rmx 500 and work very well in direct but when I record a session from traktor only records me the sound of s8 but the effects of RMX 500 not because it is external and wanted to know that I can do. please help. a greeting.

Thank you for the video! Q. Can you activate loops from the s8? By that I mean, on my s4, I could click a knob which would set traktor's loop "Active" button to On. and when the play head scrolled across the loop, traktor automatically activated the loop. I can't find the same function on the s8. Thank you!

one thing you forgot to mention was, how to get the loop to only move 1 beat ahead instead of double? example if I'm at the 4 beat mark and i mover the knob over it skips to 8 for instance how would i be able to go to 6?

Very good review! However, the loop feature seems to have been taken from Xone DX, which I really like.

The loop functionality on this thing looks AMAZING. I think the loop knob is actually the coolest part of this controller second to the dual screens of course. The way it spins around is just such a nice ascetic touch but if that wasn't good enough, the S8 integrates pad looping in such an amazing way too. Can't wait to get my hands on this magical beast later this week. Thank you for the tutorials, you have really been selling me on this thing even more so then I was already sold on it.

I kinda miss the feature where you can adjust the in and out loop manually with the jog wheel but since this doesn't have jog wheels I was hoping you can use the touchstrip for that but no adjust loop feature :(

In Loop Mode, is it possible to configure all 8 pads to be loops instead of the bottom 4 to be beat jumps?

Can somebody please answer me this...

I have a S8 and love that I can pay more attention to the hardware, but I use a Spectrum color mode, and on the unit itself it only shows shades of blue. I find myself still looking at my screen still.

Are they going to come out with a update of some kind to make this possible to use spectrum on the gear?

or are they going to come out with some kind of 2.0 version of the S8. I'll be disappointed if thats the case...

Had the S8 since mid January and this series of videos have been a big help in getting to know all the functions. I have had vinyl decks for around 15 years always been against digital mixing and performing. This controller has changed that view. It unleashes the creativity within you and I keep coming up with new ideas and there are so many options. Please keep the videos coming. Many thanks.
