Hey Brian thanks for sharing with us how to make the camp shower. In Corpus Christi,tx, we cant use the water at all. The idiot city workers dumped toxic chemicals into the water supply. So i went to home depot, and got the supplies and put bottled water in the camp shower and it worked great. Thanks again.

I would think it would be warm enough if you put it on top of the van in the winter also
-
Very nice, I think I'll use that system too. Thanks dude.

I got this one so 2 of us could shower. (not at same time)
I wanted black so the sun can heat the water.

This is awesome! I visit a cabin in Utah where we can't always turn on the running water in the winter due to the cold. This is a great idea! What do you think is the maximum temperature water you should put into the container? I think the 50/50 boiling to room temp water is perfect for bathing, but I'm curious how hot you think you could go before melting or jeopardizing the plastic or the hose? Thanks!

Awesome Idea! Can't wait to get started. Thanks for this 😊

Loved this idea but it was a fail for me. The "tank" (same 2 gallon HDX) leaked air even in the off position. And. even with the air leaking, the fittings all leaked as well. Back to HD to try and find a sprayer without a vent. The connections I can likely fix with thread tape.

OK so I camp with a teardrop trailer ( no bathroom ) and often like to camp where there are no flush toilets or showers. I saw your video and thought, Wow. Went straight away to Home Depot and bought the supplies. This thing works like a charm. Solves all the issues of being able to stay clean. Love it, your instructions were spot on.

Built it, used it for 4 months and still works great.

Thank you so much for this!!! My son and I are going to be van traveling part time, (since we living in a mobile home, we can't go full time yet) and I was really concerned about staying clean. This is excellent and we will be using your method for sure!

I'm going to make one of these this evening. I'm about to go to Home Depot right now and get the supplies. I'm not using it for camping, but for emergency uses when the power is out and there's no hot water for a shower. I can heat up water on the stove (I have a gas stove) and pour it in the sprayer with cooler water. Bring it in the bath tub and take a good shower. I can also use it if I need to take a shower late at night and not bother other tenants by running the bath tub water which is loud and you can hear it through the walls.
Filling it in the kitchen wont bother any one. Again, I'd then bring it in the bathroom tub and shower quietly.
UP-DATE:
I got the 3 gallon Echo garden sprayer tank rather than the HD 2 gallon one. The Echo still has a nice fill funnel built into it. The Echo one is more expensive, but it had better reviews too, but mainly I got it for the built in funnel which at my local Home Depot their brand sprayer didn't have the funnel model available.
I got the sink hose, sprayer head and the 1/4th" barb adapter. I put it all together and put a little water in the tank, about 12 cups or so. Pumped it up and sprayed the sprayer in the sink and it worked fine. The pressure wasn't quite as high as I wanted it to be, but maybe because I didn't have a lot of water in it. Or maybe because I didn't go crazy pumping the handle. The instruction manual does not give a clue about how many pumps should be enough or too many to damage something, so I went kind of easy on it. But certainly in an emergency or some other pinch, this device would certainly get you clean.
Thanks for the clear instructions, Van Man! :-)
