I would have lubed the gun first and cleaned my hand before putting on the gloves. Now, anything you touch could spread the vaseline.

I just did this in my basement. The rim joists were so drafty it was like a wind tunnel under the floors. It was so satisfying spraying the wood and feeling the air be still afterwards :)

Got a question and will appreciate the answer.....he's spraying a kit that covers 200 square feet at one inch thick....my question is...is the one inch depth measured before or after expansion???Thanks!!

Would you spray your main floor too instead of using batts and poly? I am thinking the sound proofing would be great. If you did, would you still use poly for the ceiling?
