Thanks! Just installed one tonight and I'm having the same issue. Will remove the reducer and the gasket as you illustrated. Thanks again.

Thanks for this tip. I'm handy myself, but didn't think of REMOVING the restrictor instead of just replacing it. This remedy worked for my older Kohler faucet, and gave us a strong efficient spray, not the loopy barely one. Thanks again.

OMG, I fixed our faucet with your suggestion. That 'reducer' was clogged with sediment as we have well water. The pressure's back. Thank you so much.
-
Your idea did work however when you take the water restriction piece out, basically there is a hole there and the existing washer is not sufficient to 'fill in the gaps'. There is some dripping because there is no longer a 'tight seal' because that one component was removed.

Thanks dude. Did a search on this and your video came up. I have the same exact model and it was just as simple as you showed. I put the O ring back in and now works almost as good as my 20 year old faucet that it replaced. Sweet, wife is happy too

Perfect--thanks! I knew how to remove the flow-restricter on OLD faucet types, but not my new Moen model which is very similar to yours. The cold water flow is still slower than I'd like, but then that's to be expected with an inline water filter. At least I'm getting all the pressure I can.

Thank you! Very Helpful!!!

Wow! That's was so simple! my husband and I replaced ours about a month ago and I've been miserable with the low pressure. You helped me fix this is ONE minute! Thank you!

thank you a million times over.. brand new $250 Moen Brantford Oil-rubbed Bronze Kitchen Faucet & I was miserable with it. took the adapter out (which was full of stuff btw) and now it will squirt into the dining room

This definitely made an improvement in the water pressure in my new Moen pull-down Annabelle faucet. I was considering getting a plumber to change the pex water line to 3/4"... now I don't have to. Thanks ever so much for the clear and concise video!! You ROCK!!

Completely solved the problem with my 5-month-old faucet in a couple minutes - thank you!

Much better now, thanks to your tip! Thanks!

Thanks, I bought a new, less expensive Moen faucet, and the water pressure kind of lagged. I simply unscrewed the aerator and pulled out the small green screen covering the water restrictor, and screwed the aerator back on. The flow is now much better.

Yes! Removing the volume restricter fixed my low flow gripe. Thank you!!

Thank you!

Thank you so much! exact same faucet I have and I fixed it myself after watching, so I don't have to add to the old honey-do list

Whoa! THANK YOU. I just installed that exact model of Moen faucet and the flow is pathetic. I was very careful to run it with just the hose first, to flush the valves and lines out before attaching the handpiece, but it made no difference. This is a great fix.
I actually removed that small plastic insert and drilled those 3 holes out a lot larger, and then put the part back in. If you remove that whole insert and just toss it, you lose the screen there and that will let junk get up into the handle, which can cause clogs nearer the head where it will be hard to clean. -
wow, thanks alot man! i have the same faucet, and you totally saved me from spending a bunch of money. very straightforward fix, and my faucet works better than ever!

It works!! Thank you
