Am having prob with the clock > Am just using the PC for Dj'ing . But i have no idea why the song of 4.33min got finished in 4.10 min its fasten by 23secs. In the deck its showing the normal time only but the beats are very fast

I guess I figured it out. Seems the particular Calvin Harris track has so much going on that Traktor pretty much had it right. A couple different settings in preferences and I was able to see the beat grid clearly. Still learning. Please feel free to respond with any thoughts or tips. Thanks!

I followed your video exactly. I imported a song (Calvin Harris, Bounce) from iTunes. I analyzed the track and changed the bpm. But when I import it, it appears that there is already a "cue" point created and it appears that my song only has 4 beat markers on the grid for the entire 3 minute song. I moved "cue point" 2 so it lines up right when the first "kick drum" hits (because this song has a beat-less intro), can't move/delete cue point on and only see 5 beat markers. Help?

So the track is stopped and you click and drag on the track and it starts playing? I haven't heard of that happening before.
-
At 1.30 u click and drag the track but when I try this the track just plays I cant get control to move the track slowly How do u do this?
-
You just have to do what I showed in this video multiple time. Either press on a hot cue button and change its type to grid or press the place grid marker button on the grid tab of the advanced options.
-
Use multiple beat cue points or fix the bpm in another program like Ableton Live.

I'm having a problem with my BPM in traktor. It says all of my standard house tracks are at 128 bpm which is pretty standard, but when I listen to them, it is sped up by about 8bpm more than it should be which causes pitch shifting and whole load of crap. Anyone know how to fix this?

This is very handy to know

Mine Hasnt Got The Beat Grid
-
Yes. When you quit Traktor it should save all the changes that you made to track data, beatgrids, and playlists.
-
sorry, how i can get the musical note? thanks excellent videos
-
i click the headphones to turn on the metronome but i do not hear it
-
this only works for me if the bpm is consistent throughout, if i try to change the tempo for the second one it changes bpm for entire song...
-
You can add additional beat markers.
-
If the tempo of a track changes in the middle, is there a way to create two beat grids? One for each tempo?
-
Why is my right deck not playing?!

Hi, i'm looking to beat grid a particular jazz track, however, whenever I create a grid point, it creates a cue point.. can I only select the grid point from the beginning of the track? (The beginning of said track is without beats). Also, on an unrelated yet relevant point, how does tractor's auto grid fare with different time signatures? It seems as though tractor is really struggling to find the bpm on this track, (although I believe the one in question is in 4:4 anyway!!) Many thanks!

To your second point: If you want to use sync, beatgrid all of your tracks.
