Harbor Freight Krause & Becker Paint Sprayer System review Spray Gun disassemble and how to, tips.
Tricks, Ratschläge, Online, Reparieren, Landwirtschaft, Landwirtschaft Maschine
Brought this Harbor Freight Krause & Becker Paint Sprayer System (#60600) when they were on sales. It was a great system. I like it. The only compliant is cleaning the spry gun. It is very hard to disassemble. You will find the info on how to disassemble the spray gun, and other accessories and tips on this video.

I have the same sprayer. I bought it about 6 years ago and I've painted several houses with it. The sprayer paid for itself several times over, and has made me allot of money. It's a great little sprayer. I bought a Graco gun for mine and it works great. The gun that comes with the sprayer isn't terrible, but I like the Graco ones better, along with the Graco tips.

Graco Project Painter Plus paint sprayer for $229 is a lot better for the price. I was expecting this sprayer from Harbor Freight to be cheaper, considering the Graco's price tag.

I have since moved on to more commercial units but my first 4 exterior repaints were completed with this spray rig. I did replace the gun and the tips with Graco parts but this unit helped me start my business without shelling out $1000 up front for a decent commercial sprayer.

Can someone tell me if you can spray clear lacquer with this airless sprayer? I also would like to know if the owners manual says anything about spraying lacquer with this sprayer. I know some sprayers dont have the proper internal parts to handle lacquer based products.

Just bought one today after watching your videos. Thank you!!

I've been using mine for staining a LOT of a large fence. Got about 10 hours on it already. Agree with the change of tip size. The absolute key to any sprayer using soap and water for cleanup is to make sure not to store it with water anywhere in the system. The 'recommended' Grayco Pump Armor is NOT necessary. Instead, use any kind of automotive anti-freeze. It's cheap and coats all the parts inside with an anti corrosive. Mix it down to 50/50 if you want. After hose is clear from cleanup, disconnect that and the gun. Prime with anti-freeze then switch to spray. As soon as you see it coming out, shut it down. That's it.
Also recommend taking the gun completely apart - clean really good with soap and water. Let it dry or force compressed air thru all parts of the gun. As you put it back together, I use WD-40 and squirt it everywhere -- inside, all parts, tip, spray needle, screen filter, trigger - everywhere. Then store in a Ziploc bag with a final spray of WD-40 and seal the bag.
And, yes, this is a good sprayer for the price -- I've had zero issues with mine. When I'm done with it (even for just a couple of days) I'll 'pickle' it as above. All hoses look brand new after each use -- takes less than an hour to fully clean it for short or long term storage. -
your review was great, I bought one today. where did you get the extension?

Just got this sprayer to paint my house. In the box for the spray gun, there is a filter screen and a rubber washer. What are these parts used for? Also in the box, there was a small allen key and a bolt. What are these for? thanks

Helpful, excellent review. Appreciate the suggestion of using the .413 tip .Planning to pick one up to paint interior rooms, and possibly in future to spray deck stain/water repellent. (waterbase).

Good tips. I think I will get a smaller nozzle too like you did. Everyone says it sprays too hard. Can you post another of cleaning it all?
