Getting to grips with Traktor Pro 2, A Remapped Numark Mixtrack Pro and Korg Nanopad.

After searching/finding and having no success with several mapping files, I am working on one of my own. The end result will be for use with Traktor Pro, A Mixtrack Pro and A Korg Nanopad (1). So far the Nano pad is set:- Scene 3 Pads 1-3 = Effect 1/2/3 On (Deck A), Pads 7-9 = Effect 1/2/3 Cycle (Deck A). The layout is the same for the other side of the device, I have set the 3 effect knobs on the Mixtrack to Effect 1-3 amount and the X/Y Pad on the nano controls Dry/Wet. On Scene 4 the top row is Set/Play Cue 1-6 Deck A and the Bottom Row is the same for deck B. I need the Nanopad 2 really so I would have enough buttons for all 8 cues. This is my first attempt, apologies for the sound quality (filmed with iphone) and my timing. Any (useful) tips and stuff would be appreciated. The track used is 'Morning Lemon' by The Chemical Brothers.

@flyketo you need to make sure that the controller that's not natively supported is first tsi, so if u wanted a nano pad and mixtrack pro 2 the pad would be first and your in\out port is nano then use the import tsi for your mixtrack, hope this helps

now then bro! well done on getting the two to run compatibly, ive tried this technique with the reloop mixage but conflicts with nano pad tried doing both seperate,, any suggestion would be massively appreciated. have got korg editor also but am having trouble understanding it al... q;-)~" P.L.U.R.R

@ThePenzboy - I'm sorry pal I don't have the mapping anymore, but it didn't take too long to make. There are loads of tutorials on YouTube for creating one or if you head over to the mappings section of DJTT there are loads to download. Good luck and happy mixing!

@flyketo - just add a second device in the settings and make sure that the in and out-ports are set to the name of the device, that way you can use two devices simultaneously.

@DJFULARA Sounds cool, I really love Traktor Pro - Its so stable. I didn't choose the idj3 as you lose the EQ knobs to accomodate the ipod dock, but you could always map EQ kills to your nanopad. Try to get the nanopad 2 if you can, it has more pads!

Nice, I just ordered the idj3 and the nanopad. Planning on using them both with traktor pro/virtual dj.
