Thanks....had to pry that M-F'r off with a big vice grip and a large pry bar...but at least I knew from video that it should come off.... now I have to find the video on how to replace the washers not related to the cartridge... or just buy a whole new m-f'n faucet... ;)

GREAT video!
Quick question: Where was yours actually leaking from...the base of the fixture, or a constant drip from the spout? -
Before you do ANYTHING place towels in the bottom of the sink tubs to prevent losing these small parts!

Thanks to other comments elsewhere, I learned that Moen has free parts for your faucets, if you are the original owner. I just received this cartridge, the hose, the hose weight and another thing that I'm not sure what it is yet. The Moen phone tech guy was so HELPFUL!!! He helped me identify which part I had, too. Call Moen. Number is on website. :)

Thanks for the video!

Great this video was perfect! Side note, home depot stocks moen cartridges as they have a lifetime warranty. If you bring in the old one they'll give you the new one free!

So far every video I have watched on you tube on how to replace the cartridge for Moan kitchen faucets seems to be a pan in the arse.

I think "Moen" must be Norwegian for "leak". The builder spec kitchen faucet I had lasted 15 years with no trouble. When it started leaking, I bought and installed this same Moen. I've been in this Moen piece of shit at least 4 times in the first 5 years. After about a year, I have to swivel the handle a dozen times or more to get it to stop dripping, but it needs another cartridge to temporarily fix it. Three years ago I replaced all my original bathroom fixtures with Price Pfister, and so far no a drip from any of them. I will NEVER own another Moen product as long as I live.

Great video! Thanks for posting! BTW, Moen offers a lifetime warranty on parts so you don't need to pay for parts. Just go to their website to figure out what product you have (if you don't have the model #). They will help you figure out what parts you need and ship them to you. Free shipping also, unless you want a rush put on it.
