In this video I show the steps involved in taking apart and replacing most of the hardware in a Moen kitchen faucet that was leaking. It can be a bit complicated, but it is something you can do on your own with a few tools!

thank you soooooooooo much for posting this!! we had our home custom built 9 years ago and didnt know that Moen would send us parts for our faucets for free! got them today and we put this one in and its so perfect it feels like its done wrong LOL..next to the bathroom faucet. tysm for the info on parts. saved all that money and got it all free thanks to you!

The instructions say use the grey piece for series 7100 and the white for series 7400 and 7600.
The instructions also say to only grease the outside of the o-rings once they are on the valve. -
I have one of these shitty faucets. The diverter valve seems totally inaccessible. Btw, lifetime warranty doesn't help much when the faucet is discontinued.

thanks for the video I didn't need a cartridge I just need to re seat the o rings and after watching your video I had no more problems:)

getting that cart out without the tool (which amazon and friends are trying to sell seperately ) wasn't too too hard. but i did damage it a little to do it (oh well its getting junked anyway)

I have the exact leaks (Moen 7400 series). But from what I've been reading they are saying it's the o-ring. ($5 piece).
How would I know for sure if it's the cartridge or o-ring? Or does replacing the cartridge comes with a new o-ring? -
Do you need a copy of the receipt when you call Moen?
