can i digitally use turntables using the 900 with just the rca straight into the mixer

Hi Endo, i am using the djm 850 and even though it is shown as connected in the driver interface, it shows up on traktor with the mention not connected. What do i have to do ?

My set up looks like this : DJM 900 NEXUS, 2 CDJ'S 900 and my software is Traktor Scratch on my Hp envy lop-top.
I'm only getting one channel in the mixer working ! for both decks. in other words I can't not get to sync nor play in two different channels in the mixer both sounds come out in the same channel.. : (
I had the same problem with a djm 800 which I returned it thinking it was defected. I got me the djm 900 nexus finding my self with the same issue..
Obviously is not pioneer mixer problem.
I've had downloaded the drivers and software few times already but, nothing.. please help me !!
I'm thinking my lop-top is probably not comparable for this gear ? I see everyone using apple computers !

Hi Endo love your vids just question about setting up the DJM 900 with no timecode control just a controller setup. In the pioneer utilities tool do I set i like i would if i was using timecode like u described in your video ?

Hi,@Endo my setup consists of 2x cdj 850's and 1x djm 900. I have connected all three components directly to laptop by usb cables. When I fire up Traktor Scratch Pro 2.6.8, I configured everything and imported Pioneer's cdj 850 mapping. When I use the decks, the jog wheel is lagging and sometimes not responsive, looping is off, I mean its a total disaster! how can I solve this, it would really suck to have spent so much $ and have to now use Virtual Dj or have to drop down some more $ for Serato. I love Traktor, please help!!! Thanks in advanced

btw, from your knowledge, is Native Instruments ever going to make a HID for the cdj 850?

I'm having issues with one of the CDJs. I've connected everything via USB-cables, DJM and the CDJs, I got Traktor settings sorted out and almost everything works fine. I got the mixer running, the left CDJ (deck A) working and doing what I want it to do BUT the problem is the other CDJ (deck B). I can browse through music with the trim knob but when I try to select a track it says "can't load a track in the mixdeck". I had to play with one CDJ and using my laptop as the other CDJ player. How can I fix this? (Btw it's a 850-setup & Traktor Scratch Pro 2.6.2)

This a great mapping. I'm still a newbie but I use this when I don't have my S4. Compact, lightweight setup. If you want to jam at night or privately just route the output and cueing to alternate headphone speakers and BAM! Mix away without disturbing anyone.

I used this to connect the X1 with my laptop. But, I couldn't get the PFL's to work properly...

I agree. The mixer is a beast! It allows for 3 (or more) DJ setups all hooked up at the same time and allows for quick changeovers between DJs. Thanks for watching!
