This is a short overview of my DJ setup consisting of an iPad air, Midifighter 3D and N.I Traktor Audio 2 soundcard. I was 12 years old when I was putting erasers and coins on my parents turntable to beatmatch with the cassette deck. 14 when I started playing on Technics 1210. 17 when I switched to CDJs. 23 when I traded physical media for MP3s, laptop and MIDI controllers and this year, at the age of 35 I traded in the laptop for the iPad and started getting really creative. Hey,

Recently, my iPod Touch 6 cracked the screen, and needed to get a replacement. After a day of waiting, I tried backing up my iPod Touch 6. Unfortunately, I do not have the version that you are presenting in this video. I literally freaked out since I'm accustomed to the user interface on the version you're presenting on the video than the latest version of DJ Player Pro.

Please, if anyone has this version, message me.

I dislike what they did with the app as it contains some bugs.

Awesome vid. I have the mf3d and an iPad mini and I really prefer my midimap setup on traktor that I run on my pc right now. Do you think the traktor app would work with this same setup for the iPad mini?

absoultly love the set up man, so streamline and lightweight and portable, stoked to try this out soon , been wanting to jam my midifighter on something other than a laptop

great video! I have an AUDIO2 too but it doesn't work with the ipad and the latest version of Traktor for ipad. With ipad2 (ios 7.0.4), when I click on "play" in a traktor deck I can ear only noisy click sounds coming from the 2 output (main and headphones). I thought it was a problem of ios version so I tried it with another ipad, ipad4 with iOS 7.1.1 (the latest one at this moment), but it doesn't work at all. The audio keeps coming out from the internal speaker and not from the AUDIO2.
Any suggestion? thanks in advance

Thank you sharing your setup and showing how to connect! Just one small correction, a powered USB hub is not required for every MIDI controller. Some controllers can work with their own power adapter, for example the Vestax VCI-400 or the Stanton DJC.4.
