On this video, I installed the Traktor Audio 4 into the Korg KM-202 Mixer and the Traktor Audio 6 into the Vestax PMC-05proIV mixer to make them Traktor Scratch Certified. The process is fully reversible and there is no soldering required. There is some light drilling involved into the metal of your mixer, but that's the hardest part of the whole process. You can install any Traktor or Serato box that is powered by USB into your mixer pretty easily as there is usually plenty of space inside and its a great way to update your favorite mixer. i have an american audio versaport sound card in my mixer behringer, and i used traktor scratch 2.5.... and now, i have a traktor audio A6. very good video. sorry 4 my english but i only speak in spanish. thank you.

friend good night ! then have a controlling ddjsx 2 pioneer , wanted to call another external mixer this controller , which I would use only the parent company of CDJ , and other external mixer, wanted to use to make mixes in individual of the parent channel , ie play for Company serato more handle on the external mixer, u could tell me if the to use the controller as audio adapter and connect the external mixer it, or will need a time code , for me to use this mixer is to inform me and how to do this. thank you so much

Dude I'm definitely going to try this out. When I bought my turntables the guy threw in a Vestax PMC05 Pro 2 and I was just going to use it as a spare/backup or sell it on eBay or something but it's just been gathering dust. Definitely going to try this out.

So I decided to go ahead and buy a pmc05 pro iv, saw it for $400 so I just jumped on it... but didn't check for a mapping file for traktor. Would you happen to have one or know where I can find one?

As soon as you said drilling your mixer.. It would be a lot easier to solder the RCA connections from your sound card directly to the mixer RCA outputs. If you put a voltmeter to the connections, the signal would be stronger aswell.

is not clean, if you want permanently audio 4 inside you must solder the rca, not have cable outside

Grandiose idea!

For a cleaner finish You could of put an internal powered USB Hub that way you could of avoided drilling and having to mount another USB port. In addition to using less wires.

Does the A4 not need NI multicore cables? thanks

Hey +Kareem Julien, on your site, when you list the Stanton mixers that this mod could potentially work with, you listed out everything in the SA series, but left out the SA-8. I'm not sure if you ever got it to review and know this for sure, but could the interface fit inside that as well? I don't have it and I'm thinking of getting it and doing this.

Great Vid. My question: Does the traktor z2 have enough space to add a rane sl2? It would be pretty awesome if this is possible since I would be able use the mixer with traktor, scratch live, serato dj.

I'm attempting to do this with the Audio A6 inside of a Numark M6 (then eventually taking out the stock fader for a innofader) and one of my questions is how do you keep the external box from moving inside of the unit during transport? My second question is on the drilling. Do you drill from the outside into the unit or from the inside out? Worried about metal particles falling onto the boards that are connected to the RCA's.

The mixer PMC-05proIV have a internal interfase to support timecodes vinyls or I need buy a external interfase to use the mixer with timecodes vinyls?
