Hi Chris I love your videos, so much so I bought a graco LTS19. Its brand new but I have issues spraying sherwin william latex paint.
I've strained the paint twice, flushed system with water primed it but when I go to spray with paint the gun/tip clogs up and it ha sno pressure and eventually nothing at all comes out. At first I thought it was the tip so I reversed it but then it just stops spraying immediately..
I removed the filter in the gun and unit both were clean so I attempted to spray just water and it was much better but had similar issues even with water... Any idea' what this could be?
I'm using the supplied 515 tip, and noticed that when I tried to reverse the tip it was extremely difficult to turn a if it was under pressure? I have all the fittings tight any ideas what this could be? spent all day from 10am to 6pm buggering around with this new unit and am very disappointed on what should have been a quick job has turned into a nightmare... -
Hey! If I was as stupid as William may and used bleach along with my soap to wash out after using latex paint... yep I did that . Seems like it cleaned things real good BUT! it might have done more. My hoses and gun and pick up tube all cleaned real nice but now my gun is leaking a bit. I think (unlike William may) that the bleach attacked the plating on some of the parts and now I need to perform the process in the video. Great job giving a fool some directions! LOL

Right on man, you're good at explaining this. Very concise, well spoken. If I want to be a nit-picking a-hole I would suggest maybe having some close up shots of the individual parts and processes, while you're narration continues.
I just recently started my own painting company, probably earlier than a lot of other contractors did in their painting careers. Because of this, I've ran across a few instances where I needed to figure something out that I have had zero experience with. Thankfully I'm alive in the Internet age, and awesome people like you supply an excellent resource. Really, it's greatly appreciated, my brother of the brush. -
Hi Chris,
Thanks for all your videos.
My Graco # 243282 contractor gun is very different than either of your contractor guns 1 and 2. I bought the Bedford Repair Kit # 20-1502 which replaces Graco No. 218-070 from Janco Inc. in Berkeley, CA June 30, 2014.
This kit has nothing for my Graco Contractors Guns accept the needle.
I plan to return the kit to Janco Monday July 7th.
Please advise.
Thank you.

Thank you very much for this totally informative video, you really do the best job of explaining things. P.S. you really don't need all those muscles for painting, I highly recommend three month regiment of strict couch rest combined with a McDonald's diet.
