Hi! I want to paint my steel front door. I've noticed when others have rolled or brushed theirs, you always see the texture. Does spraying result in a sort of texture or is it really flat?

Excellent tutorial Haley! Exactly what I'm thinking of doing with my cabinets. (pros want to change over $3200 for 18 doors/6 drawers - "6 coats").Question - How did you paint the actual boxes on the walls.. did you also spray those or hand brush paint?
-
Hi Haley. What steps did you do before painting your cabinets with the sprayer. Did you sanded your old paint?
-
it is the stock equipment. The Bayer paint I used is a bit thick. Valspar paint is also great and much thinner and easier to use. Im not sure why it seems quieter though.

I have a Wagner HVLP conversion. It appears your equipment is a bit quieter than my air compressor. Your model might be putting out a finer spray than mine. Is that latex (acrylic) you're spraying? If so, is that the stock needle/projector?

The spray is somewhat adjustable you can make it spray horizontal, vertical, and with different levels of pressure. By adjusting the pressure and stepping further away from the project you can have a larger and equally strong spray.

can it spray any wider?
