It's amazing how far djing has come- even dj classes! I remember when I first got into it (1993), the scene was so small in my city in Baltimore, that it was sometimes hard to find someone to teach me- it reminded me of the pro wrestling business where those working in the business protected it- lol. My "in" was working at the radio station in college and there happened to be a house dj that was well connected to the scene at the time. He gave me to 4/4 beat house tracks and proceeded to show me the art of matching (syncing today) beats via 2 Technique 1200s...and I created a trainwreck- lmao!! Oh those trainwrecks- how I don't miss them.
I had been out of the dj scene since 2001, and I downloaded the demo of Traktor and once I got the hang of it my mouth was watering. I still have a wall of vinyl from 1993-2002 including old school rap, funk, and disco form the 70's- but it will probably continue to collect dust. New djs- you have all the tools in the world to be creative in the dj booth- have a blast ;-) -

digital mixing on 4 decks with midi controller and the first traktor that ever came out can do this things !!!! am i right u can loop the same track loaded to other channels and use it with even a better control effectswise and changing its size whenever u want .... the sampler created on DJms (pionneer) has never really succes in its job ...what am i missing her ?
