Cleaning & taking apart Wagner Paint Crew Airless Sprayer
Tricks, Ratschläge, Online, Reparieren, Landwirtschaft, Landwirtschaft Maschine
Watch with child-like wonder and slack jawed amazement as I disassemble and clean a wagner sprayer. Chances are that if you have one of these you have had problems with it at least once. The most common part that needs repair is under the tray filter. You can take it out and clean it to working condition in most cases. Remember to put a few drops of mineral or vegetable oil at that part when you are done cleaning out the paint and ready to put it away. It helps stop any extra paint from seizing the part. Sorry the video is not much good. I just taped my iPhone to a ball cap.

You don't need alcohol, latex paint will come off with hot soapy water. There was no need to take the motor apart either. Oh and that inlet valve is mean to have a ratchet used with extension into the white tool to take the plug out... tells you right in the manual.

Tape the Iphone to a ball cap, nice.. And I thought you had a GoPro!Thanks for sharing the spirit of wonder I learned a lot.

Thanks for posting. I used this sprayer to paint a barn two years ago. I got it out of the garage today and found that we didn't get it clean enough from just running water through it. Your video will help us get it going again.

Here in the states you can buy at grocery stores and pharmacies. I know in Scotland it wasnt as available due to it being consumed orally.

That would be rubbing alcohol.

Hi, Nice video, can you tell me more exactly what the fluid are that you have in the bucket, you say Alcohol in your video, but i dont know what that is here in Denmark, i hope you can help me, Thank a lot, Have a nice day Best regards Michael

I agree with Timpala. It was very upsetting to see you shove a screwdriver into the 3/8th ratchet hole, but I kept watching hoping you had some idea of what you're doing. I think next time you video yourself taking something apart, make sure you've done it before.

Nice clean up, thanks for the info. Would have been nice to see the whole thing assembled and (maybe) sparkling clean !

circlip plyers would take that keeper ring off with ease, wonderful video, really helped me decide to buy this sprayer, knowing I could repair/clean it deep if I need to!, thanks

Didn't mean to sound short on this comment. Your video helped me know that a part that was stuck was just stuck with paint. My poor old Paint Crew is spraying again! Thanks.

That hole that you jammed a screwdriver into is made for a 3/8" drive ratchet.

Thank you for the instructions, my confidence level is up now. I'm going to go clean the one I got for $60 at a yard sale that only has mild paint build up compared to this one.
