Break The Bank: The 3rd Episode (4 of 4)
Tricks, Ratschläge, Online, Reparieren, Landwirtschaft, Landwirtschaft Maschine
Tom Kennedy, and 9 stars will give either the right answer or a bluff to one of the two contestants... Sounds like another game show airing at the time. Can't be Don Adams' Screen Test Panel: Abe Vigoda, Alice Ghostley, Jo Ann Pflug, Dick Gautier, Jan Murray, Lynda Carter, Liz Torres, Robert Hegyes, Marjoe Gortner

I would love to see this show on GSN again.
-
Yeah....in the 50s. And one of the early franchisees was some guy named Dave Thomas.
-
What made it drag on so much was when a contestant guessed wrong the box was covered back up, or went "back to its neutral position"; in later episodes the box (and control of the board) automatically went to the opponent to speed up gameplay.
-
GSN in 1997 skipped the second episode due to poor quality of it or something like that.
-
would you buy a car from that guy in the plaid suit?
-
Thanx.

Actually TJW during the CBS years was branded as "Jack Barry Productions." BTB was the first post-scandal game show to be branded as "Barry and Enright Production."
-
No, the first was The Joker's Wild in 1972, which was on CBS for some years.
-
Any chance of putting up some of The Syndicated Break The Bank shows with Jack Barry as Host.
-
Ernie Anderson was a much better announcer, IMO. He really had an exciting voice that pumped up the crowd.
-
Man, I miss this show. I would love for it to come back to TV today but the format would have to be tweaked; this episode just kind of dragged on. Nobody beat one game in the whole episode!
-
I hope you've got the fourth episode ready to upload, or any BTB76 episode for that matter. This was one of the underrated games of the '70s.
-
That would be Ernie Anderson. Here, the announcer is Johnny Jacobs.
