I tested this against the Focusrite Scarlett, PreSonus Audio Box iTwo, Steinberg UR22, M-Audio M-Track II, Avid Fast Track Duo - Standard and the Behringer U-Phoria UMC202. And this one came out on top. My old Behringer U-Phoria UMC202 had some drivers issues and also had a problem handling static electricity causing my speakers to shut off and I would have to restart the whole computer. Can the input 3/4 be used as one for Left and Right Audio coming out of my DJ mixer? It seems like it is explained as simply two separate inputs, thus they wouldn't combine into one...

I have the M-Audio Fast Track C400.

Would this (Komplete Audio 6) be a good upgrade from this unit? I'm not looking for a lot more but the fast track c400 feels like its made of cheap plastic and my headphone insert is starting to break down. Not to mention the driver problems I've been having lately..

Hey Travis, I use mostly synthesizers and soft synths, virtual instruments, etc. So I need to be able to monitor in STEREO in real-time. I am changing from an M-Audio FastTrack Ultra (terrible drivers issues), and got a Steinberg UR22. However I found out today that It's not giving me a real stereo monitoring. The KOMPLETE you are showcasing here, would it allow it to monitor STEREO without complicating anything? Thanks! Enjoyed the review!

Hey I am kind of new to this, but will this improve the sound from my computer to my speakers? Like just for listening to music, right now i have a PreSonus AUDIOBOX. Is it worth the upgrade if I do not record much but just use it with studio speakers?

very good review i agree with the fact that the audio 6 is the best in that price range! if i remember correctly it also comes with a 25$ coupon for the NI online shop!!!! by the way did you build your table yourself? it looks realy sick mate :)

can you use any other daw systems with this eg Reaper, Mixcraft. I dont really want to learn a new system. Do you also have any videos on using this interface?

Can you please shed some light on me regarding audio interfaces and built in DACs inside?
I have Gigbyte GA-Z170X G3 mobo and i ordered pair of Presonus Eris E4.5 monitors and i am wondering what would be better solution from music listening point of view:
To buy dedicated DAC only as Audioengine D1 or let say Focusrite Scarlett 2i2?
AudioEngine D1 have 110dB SNR vs Scarlett 100dB SNR
Audioengine D1 have 24bit/192kHz rate vs Scarlett 24bit/96kHz rate
though Audioengine does not have mic input as Scarlett.
Now i will mainly use this setup for music listening though i would like to have capabilities of recording also and i wonder does Scarlett can satisfy my critical listening needs or to go with expencier Audioengine D1 for the sake of audioquality and forget about mic input?
Please help me in decision

Hey Travis, Great Vid mate!!! Just wanted to ask about the direct monitoring....Can you have sound from the PC, as well as direct monitoring of your mic at the same time? For example, I'd like to be able to hear game audio while also hearing my own voice during a stream.

How is the latency on this device? Do you get zero latency on your headphones when recording vocals?

Nice. Can this device be used without a computer? For say mixing? Of course with external USB power.
