big job, here in america many belarus tractors sitting, this would never be repaired in an older belarus here too much work, I have three I love and respect them
-
do yo have thee photo of bolt from another site?>
-
mine does more then 40khm at full speed i have bigger 6th gear
-
Do you have part numbers of this gears? I want set max speed to 40 in my LTZ 55 and I need older gears too. I haven't catalogue for T40, only for LTZ.
-
thats one beefy transmission, wierd that the shaft broke. nice job repairing it though, there are not many people who can do that themselfes. good job!
-
I have a t-40 am and i just realised that its transmission oil was almost empty i mean there was only abou 1cm of oil left in it . and i also had this gearbox "screaming" sound i poured in 17 liters of new oil mixed with the old one and will see how it reacts. I hope theres nothing wrong with it.
-
Nice job!
-
i have ltz-60 just like yours, but with jumz engine, ill have to crack it in pieces because of probably broken tooth of 4th gear and beacause there is pretty much oil leak in clutch room :D About winter starts: i had a magneton 12 v starter witch is peace of crap, problems all the time, now i have magneton 24v- cranks the tractor very well, and seems to have less problems then 12v ;) oh and it was impossible to start it with 12v in -13 already...

Have you got the e-mail & phone number for the parts supplier in Estonia?
-
that is so normal for belarus
-
@RenzeZielman Yes it is transverse mounted. In normal use it is very strong but the handbrake is actually made really stupidly, because it's after the secondary shaft's bearing. That causes rotative forces into the thinnest point of the shaft.
-
Hmm it has a transverse mounted transmission ?? Not a very strong gearbox, if it breaks from a brake jam..
-
@markuzh you could make a video how you start it and some drive test whit 6th gear! that would be cool to watch! i like the noise when its 6th gear! Anyways it the Wheel hard to turn when you start it in -10C cuz our belarus wheel is so heavy that you can hardly turn the wheels! but our t-40am wheels are easyer to turn when its running some 5 mins cuz it gets warm!
-
@Ferrari3211 Maybe... It starts well but the ignition key doesn't work so I need to use some wrench or something like that to start it directly from the starter :-D
-
will you made any new Videos Soon about your old t-40am you bought? and how it starts? Do you have any other tractors?
-
@Ferrari3211 Magneton -start made it start very well. See my other video "426 start up". It's made in summer but it started as well in winter. When I sold the tractor the buyer was just amazed how well it starts. He said "That starts better than cars do!" :-D
