Ask the Painter - Should I use an airless sprayer to paint my interior walls?

http://www.tulsapaintcontractor.com A Diy Painter asked if she should buy an airless sprayer to paint her interior walls. I suggest that she doesn't. Spraying interior walls can can be very time consuming and messy. You shouldn't try to spray them unless you have an entire unoccupied house to do at once.

I'm putting up crown molding in my entire house that I currently live in (floor, ceiling, door, etc) and was also thinking of re-painting the walls. After I install the molding, can I spray ALL of it, then repaint walls with rollers? (masking only the floor since I'm going to paint walls after).

Thanks for the help

Thanks. I did my ceilings with the sprayer and it was great, but now we are in and fitted off the sprayer would be too messy and masking off would take DAYS!

Very True.

Good answer to the question, using a spray gun is quick but nobody seems to take into account the time it takes to mask every thing.
