This video is focused on using the 2.5oz sprayer and how to apply your first coat of spray polymer. Be aware, the polymer is being applied to a horizontal optic and as such is being applied heavier than if you were applying to tilted or vertical optics. On a vertical optic the liquid polymer will run as it is applied so the first coat, called a "tack coat" must be applied lightly. More polymer can be applied on subsequent coats. Three coats are typically applied so the dry polymer film is thick enough to have the mechanical strength to hold together and peel at once. Practicing technique is the only way to become proficient and understand the polymer properties.
