Is the employee still living ?
-
guys don't blame the employee, blame the supervisor/owner who allows his/her employee do this shit without the right PPE's while they sit in their office calculating their profit margin. That is why I have no problem shutting down operations like this.

where goes the Safety ?

4 years? Never mind if the stripper is safe, that green primer contains strontium chromate and zinc chromate. Look up the effects of that stuff on humans and put some PPE on next time and you might make it to retirement.
-
"works fast?" Sorry, waiting 4 hours for a chemical strip isnt fast at all. Small shops might have that time to wait around but large OEMs would never adopt something that slow.
-
No mask? I feel bad for your lungs.
-
why not just use acetone

EYES!!!!!!!!AAAAHHHHHHHHH

I have used this product for over 2-years now. It is very safe. We seldom use PPE..only on larger planes but planes such as the Caravan pictured, and smaller, we do not use PPE. The product washes away and I have gotten it on myself several times leaving it on for minutes with no side effect. Scot has a good product. I recently had a sprayer gun clog and used it on copper tubing cleaning the spray head. I have also used it on nylon and other aircraft parts. There is NO smoke and mirrors the product works. I am currently rebuilding an O2 SKymaster and using it on various parts of the Vietnam war plane. Recently did some parts from a 1943 TBM as well. You can contact me at richardorgill@yahoo.com if you want to call me a liar. NO smokin mirrors I promise you.

Watching this was as painful as waiting paint peel! :)
Thanks for video. -
using a pressure washer is not a good idea is it....I mean you can spray that stuff into the fuselage and get into the control cables or anything that will cause corrosion. Just wondering here I am not saying anything about your process. I'm going to be stripping a 65 M20C still has the original paint and interior. It was my grandpa's...shoot it only has 1900 TTAF. Thanks for sharing the video!!

looks like he did a great job but i would think you should be wearing protective clothing and respirator working with that stuff.

Its pretty easy to find, the paint stripper is VpCI-432/433

What does a full strip and paint typically cost for a small plane like this?
