http://www.ThriftDiving.com - My friend Jodi and I stained her deck, which was the first time for both of us. Along the way, we learned some valuable tips to pass along to help make the job easier, and we also used some tools to get the job done faster--the HomeRight Finish Max paint sprayer and the HomeRight StainStick with Gap Wheel. Nice butts. It wasn't until after about two minutes that I realized this video is about painting.

wear safety goggles and safety mask >.>

Half your stain went into the air when you did the railing and bannisters, that method is not environmentally friendly. Roll and brush on your stain and help the planet!

always wear clothes that covers your backside lol😂

tube sucker lol siphon

what a coincidence i'm using that same kind and solid color. i rolled mine on and it was a pain. Where did you purchase your sprayer from?

Spraying is amateurish. Always use a roller or brush with stain or paint.

Awesome video! We just had our 2 decks totally replaced last summer since our old ones were pretty old and rotting and since they are both made with pressure treated wood (they look 100% identical to the deck in this video), we couldn't stain them last summer since it's recommended that you wait at least 6 months to do any staining. My husband and I are going to tackle the job of staining them both ourselves and hoping we don't totally screw it up! It always looks easy!

I am considering using one of these stain sticks for my deck, a huge deck about twice the length of yours. Did you need to put a lot of downward pressure on the stick in order for the stain to come out of it uniformly? It looked in the video that it was not coming out easily. Then in one spot it looked liked it suddenly puddled, is that because you pressed down on the suction handle to release more stain? Thanks. Great video.

Serena, first off I just discovered your sight, you are above all hysterical in this video, love that you don't super-edit everything and your subtitles are spot-on BTW the deck looks awesome. keep up the great work, I'll be on the lookout for your videos and of course have a lot of catching up to do with all the content you have provided. Shameless plug for my sight but if your ever looking for ideas I am a DIY hubby and I love to explore making "stuff" and repurposing "things" here's my sight: www.blogarican.com Blessings to you and your continued success.. Regards Gabe "oh and if you have any advice please let me know too.
